A St Anton lift pass is not a single product, and the differences matter more than the headline day rate. You are choosing how much of Ski Arlberg your ticket covers, how many consecutive days you will actually ski, and which tariff window your travel dates fall into. Get those three decisions right and the rest — beginner points, age bands, collection method — usually falls into place.

The current reference is the Ski Arlberg tariff for winter 2026/27, published by the lift operator and reflecting the 2026/27 season, which can be adjusted later but not retrospectively after purchase. Older third-party figures circulating online belong to the 2025/26 season and should not be treated as today's prices. Check the official Ski Arlberg tariff page before you budget, where the 2026/27 peak season runs from 19 December 2026 to 2 April 2027 and a one-day adult ticket is listed at €85.00.

What Your St Anton Lift Pass Actually Decides

The first decision is coverage. A Ski Arlberg ticket unlocks the connected circuit across St. Anton, St. Christoph, Stuben, Zürs, Lech, Oberlech and Warth-Schröcken, so you are not buying a single-valley ticket. Before committing to a long-duration pass, orient yourself with the st anton ski map so you know whether your group will realistically move between sectors or stay on one side of the valley.

The second decision is shape: a half-day from midday, a one-day ticket, a 2–14 day block, or a season pass. Multi-day passes are only valid on the consecutive days printed on them, so an eight-day ticket does not survive a rest day in the middle. If your group plans a break, that gap costs you a printed day.

St Anton Day and Multi-Day Passes Priced by Duration

In the provisional 2026/27 peak tariff, an adult one-day Ski Arlberg pass is listed at 85 euros, a 2-day at 168 euros, a 3-day at 251 euros and a 6-day at 468 euros, with child, youth, senior, active-senior and Snowman categories priced below those. Per-day cost falls as duration rises, so a six-day block is cheaper per ski day than six separate daily tickets. All figures are inclusive of VAT but exclude the chip-card deposit.

For a week-long trip the practically relevant comparison is five, six and seven days, because most visitors ski fewer days than they stay. Do not buy a duration you will not use simply because the per-day maths looks better — the consecutive-day rule means unused printed days are simply lost. Decide your realistic ski days first, then match the block.

Peak Season Versus the Wedel & Sun Weeks

Ski Arlberg splits winter 2026/27 into a peak window from 19 December 2026 to 2 April 2027 and Wedel & sun ski weeks from 2 to 18 December 2026 and 3 to 18 April 2027, which carry lower adult rates across the duration table. The season is scheduled to start on 2 December 2026 and end on 18 April 2027, with limited operation possible at both ends; Warth-Schröcken and Klösterle-Sonnenkopf finish earlier, on 11 April 2027.

That makes your dates a pricing decision as well as a conditions decision. Early December and mid-April are cheaper on paper, but Ski Arlberg warns that start and end of season may run with limited operation, so not every lift, link or piste should be assumed open. Verify the current operating status for your exact week rather than treating a scheduled season as a guarantee.

Beginner Tickets and the 30-Point Practice-Lift Pass

Sponsored

Beginners do not necessarily need a full Ski Arlberg day pass. Ski Arlberg sells practice and baby lift tickets valid as a transferable 30-point ticket, plus half-day and one-day versions from 48.50 euros for adults. Point deductions vary by lift: in St. Anton the Nassereinlift and Kindlisfeld each deduct two points, Muldenlift one and Fangbahn six, while St. Christoph's Maiensee deducts three.

This is the sensible choice for a first-timer or a group with one nervous skier, because unused points stay valid to the end of the season even though they cannot be refunded. If you are still deciding where to base a beginner, review st anton skiing for beginners before choosing between a practice-lift ticket and a full area pass.

Rules, Restrictions and What Is Not Refundable

Ski Arlberg passes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for another pass later. There are no refunds for illness or bad weather, no student discount, and no special family ticket — reductions apply only by age band, with proof of age required. For winter 2026/27, age categories ran from Snowman (born 2019 and younger) through children, youth, seniors and active seniors, so bring identification for anyone claiming a reduced rate.

Separate schemes exist outside the standard tariff. Snow Card Tirol and the Ländle Card are not valid in Ski Arlberg, while the Freizeitticket Tirol is accepted for three day tickets and validates directly at the turnstile. Holders of the 3TälerPass or the Warth-Schröcken season ticket can buy a limited number of discounted exchange day tickets.

How to Buy and Collect Your Pass in St Anton

Sponsored

Day and multi-day tickets can be bought online from 27 November 2026 in the Ski Arlberg webshop and loaded onto an existing chip card, or collected at pick-up boxes and ticket machines. A 5 euro deposit applies to the chip card, refunded when an undamaged card is returned at a ticket desk or return machine. Season passes were sold at a reduced presale price from 27 November 2026.

If you are weighing an extended stay, compare the season pass and presale against the cost of a long-duration block before committing, since the pass covers consecutive days only and offers no illness or weather refund. For a non-Arlberg comparison of how another Austrian resort structures its lift products, see the alpbach ski pass breakdown, but note that pass inclusions do not transfer between resorts.

Choosing Your St Anton Ski Pass

Work through three questions before you buy: how many consecutive days will you really ski, does your group need full-area coverage or a practice-lift ticket, and does your travel week fall in peak season or a Wedel & sun window? Answer those and the duration and tariff follow directly, rather than the other way round.

Then confirm the live position on the Ski Arlberg tariff page, since the published 2026/27 prices are subject to recalculation before purchase. Treat any figure you find elsewhere, including older 2025/26 reference tables, as background only and verify before you pay.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much is a St Anton ski pass for a day or a week?

The reference is the provisional 2026/27 Ski Arlberg tariff, which lists peak-season adult rates by duration from a half-day ticket up to a 14-day pass. Older third-party figures belong to the 2025/26 season, so check the official tariff page for the exact price before you budget.

When is a St Anton lift pass cheapest?

The lower-priced Wedel & sun ski weeks run from 2 to 18 December 2026 and 3 to 18 April 2027; the peak window runs from 19 December 2026 to 2 April 2027. Those windows are tariff periods, not a promise about snow or how much terrain will be open.

Is there a beginner or practice-lift ticket in St Anton?

Yes. Practice and baby lift tickets are available as a transferable 30-point ticket, with half-day and one-day versions also sold. Point deductions differ by lift — for example, Nassereinlift and Kindlisfeld in St. Anton each deduct two points, while Fangbahn deducts six.

Can I buy and load a St Anton ski pass online?

Ski Arlberg day and multi-day tickets can be bought in the webshop and loaded onto an existing chip card, or collected on site at pick-up boxes and ticket machines. A deposit applies to the chip card and is refunded when an undamaged card is returned.
